Back from Coppa Nevigata

I've just returned from a month of archaeological excavation in Coppa Nevigata, Southern Italy and, as usual to me, I've left my camera at home. Fortunately, many friends of mine on the excavation took a lot of pictures, and I'll be able to show them to you as soon as I receive them.
For the moment, this is me, digging up a piece of vase on a cloudy and windy morning of September.
See you soon for the rest of the pitures and my diary of the excavation!

Opening time

Ah, hello, it's nice to see you all here!

With these words Rowan Atkinson, wearing the Devil's costume, welcomes the damned to Hell in his famous one man show Rowan Atkinson Live. With the same words I welcome you to a more comfortable (or so I hope) place: my new Blog!
My name is Simone, I'm 22 and I'm an archaeologist. Don't worry, I'm not going to fill it with archaeological notes and nothing else! :-)
Well, in here you will find a little of archaeology, of course, but this is not the whole story. I thought this blog as a sort of stream of consciousness (I'm a literary promise :-). A lot of people ask me which is the meaning of scholars like me, and in general of people like me, in a world launched towards the future. Well, I look around every day for the answer, and every day I find different answers. I hope you can also help me finding answers to this question!
You'll hear from me in the blog. Feel free to comment everything you see, hear, read or smell on this site; your opinion is important for me!
Have a good navigation and, above all, a good day!
